Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: May 14, 2026

Our Commitment

Push Start Go LLC is committed to making PushStartGo.com accessible to all people, including those with disabilities. We believe that every founder, regardless of ability, deserves equal access to the tools and community on our platform. We are actively working to improve the accessibility of our website and services in accordance with applicable law.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

Our current conformance status is partially conformant. This means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We have completed two full accessibility audits and remediation passes, and we continue to identify and fix remaining issues.

Accessibility Features

The following accessibility features are currently implemented across PushStartGo.com:

  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements (links, buttons, forms, menus) are reachable and operable via keyboard.
  • Skip navigation link: A visible “Skip to main content” link appears at the top of every page when focused via keyboard, allowing screen reader and keyboard users to bypass repetitive navigation.
  • Focus indicators: All focusable elements display a visible 2px green focus outline conforming to WCAG 2.1 Success Criterion 2.4.7 (Focus Visible).
  • Color contrast: Interactive text and UI elements use colors meeting the 4.5:1 minimum contrast ratio against their backgrounds (WCAG SC 1.4.3). Our primary brand green (#247a45 on white) provides a 5.33:1 contrast ratio.
  • Screen reader support: ARIA labels, roles, and states are used on all icon-only buttons, form inputs, navigation menus, dropdowns, and interactive widgets. Dynamic content uses aria-expanded, aria-haspopup, aria-pressed, and aria-checked where appropriate.
  • Form accessibility: All form fields have associated visible labels or aria-label attributes. Required fields are marked with both visual indicators and aria-required.
  • Image alt text: Meaningful images include descriptive alt attributes; decorative images use alt="".
  • Video accessibility: Video elements include aria-label attributes. We recommend captions for user-uploaded video content.
  • Reduced motion: Animations and transitions are suppressed for users who have enabled the “Reduce Motion” preference in their operating system (prefers-reduced-motion: reduce).
  • Responsive design: The interface is fully usable at 320px minimum viewport width and supports zoom up to 400% without horizontal scrolling on most pages (WCAG SC 1.4.4, 1.4.10).
  • Semantic HTML: Pages use appropriate heading hierarchy (h1–h3), landmark elements (<main>, <nav>, <footer>), and list markup.
  • Language attribute: The page lang attribute is set to en to support screen reader language detection.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Known areas of ongoing work include:

  • Some user-generated content (posts, comments, venture descriptions) may not include alt text on embedded images, which depends on what users choose to provide.
  • Complex data tables in the admin and reporting sections may not have full programmatic relationships defined via scope and headers attributes in all views.
  • Some third-party embedded content (such as payment processing widgets) is controlled by third-party providers and may not fully conform to our accessibility standards.

We are committed to addressing these limitations in ongoing development. If you encounter a specific barrier, please contact us (see below) and we will prioritize a fix.
