Working with Advisors: Terms for Business Owners

A supplement to the PushStartGo Website Terms of Use

Last Updated: October 19, 2026 (version 2026-10-19)

These terms apply when you, as a business owner or a member of a business’s team on PushStartGo.com (the “Website”), look for, connect with, or pay an advisor. They are part of our Website Terms of Use and are provided by Push Start Go LLC (“PushStartGo,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

The short version: advisors on PushStartGo are independent businesses. They are not our employees or agents, and PushStartGo is not your advisor. We provide the software you and your advisor use together. The advisor is responsible for the advice and services they provide, and for what they charge you.

1. Advisors are independent

An “advisor” is any person or business that uses an advisor account on the Website, such as a consultant, accountant, bookkeeper, attorney, coach, banker, or a counselor from a Small Business Development Center (SBDC) or SCORE. Advisors are independent third parties. They are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of PushStartGo, and they cannot make promises on our behalf.

PushStartGo does not provide advisory, consulting, accounting, legal, tax, financial, or other professional services, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and an advisor. Using an advisor through the Website does not create a professional relationship of any kind between you and PushStartGo. Our No Professional Advice section in the Website Terms of Use still applies.

2. What we check, and what we don’t

Advisors write their own profiles. Unless we specifically say we have verified something, we have not checked an advisor’s identity, licenses, credentials, insurance, experience, or claims. A “verified partner” badge means only that we confirmed the advisor’s affiliation with the named program, such as an SBDC or SCORE. Ratings and reviews are written by other users and reflect their opinions.

You are responsible for deciding whether an advisor is right for you. Before you rely on an advisor, we encourage you to ask for proof of any license or credential that matters to you, ask about insurance, and agree in writing on the scope of work, fees, and how to cancel.

3. Giving an advisor access to your business

When you connect an advisor, you choose what they can do: view your business on the Website, or also collaborate by adding and editing tasks and other items. You can change that choice or end the connection at any time, and their access ends right away. We keep a record of what advisors do in your business, which you can review.

Advisors agree to use your information only to serve you and to keep it confidential. Advisors can keep their own private notes and records about their work with you; those stay with the advisor after the connection ends, and you will not see them.

4. Plans needed to work with an advisor

Connecting with an advisor requires a paid plan, as shown on the Website. If an advisor invites you, you may receive a free period of that plan with no card required. When a free period ends and you have not chosen a paid plan, your connection with the advisor pauses: your data is not deleted and you keep your free features, and the connection resumes when you subscribe. An advisor may choose to pay for your plan; if they stop, you can continue by paying for it yourself. Paid plans are governed by our Subscription & Purchase Terms.

5. Paying your advisor through PushStartGo

Some advisors let you pay their invoices or monthly retainers on the Website. When you do:

  • The advisor is the seller. You are buying services from the advisor, not from PushStartGo, and the advisor’s name appears on your card statement.
  • Stripe processes the payment. Payments are handled by Stripe, Inc. PushStartGo does not store your full card number. PushStartGo receives a small fee from the advisor for the billing service; it does not increase the price the advisor sets.
  • The advisor sets prices and refund terms. Whether you can get a refund is between you and the advisor, under the advisor’s policy and your agreement with them, except where the law gives you a right to one.
  • Retainers renew monthly until canceled. A monthly retainer charges your card each month until you or the advisor cancels it. We will email you before each renewal. You can cancel from your billing page at any time, and you will not be charged for later months.

6. If something goes wrong

With an advisor’s services. Contact the advisor first. Most problems are resolved fastest that way. If you cannot resolve it, or if you believe an advisor has acted dishonestly or unsafely, tell us at hello@pushstartgo.com. We may review an advisor’s account and may limit or remove it, but we do not decide disagreements between you and an advisor, and we are not able to provide refunds for an advisor’s services.

With a payment. If a charge looks wrong, contact the advisor or us before you dispute it with your bank, so we can help sort it out. If you do dispute a payment, we may share records of the invoice, your account activity, and your communications on the Website with Stripe, your bank, and the advisor to respond to the dispute. Disputing a charge for services you agreed to and received is a breach of our Website Terms of Use and may lead us to limit your account.

7. Limits on our responsibility

Because advisors are independent and we do not provide their services, PushStartGo is not responsible for an advisor’s advice, services, work, conduct, fees, or results, or for any decision you make based on them. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release Push Start Go LLC and its owners, officers, employees, and contractors from claims arising out of an advisor’s services or conduct, or out of any agreement between you and an advisor. The Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation on Liability sections of our Website Terms of Use also apply.

If you are a California resident, you waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which says: “A general release does not extend to claims that the creditor or releasing party does not know or suspect to exist in his or her favor at the time of executing the release and that, if known by him or her, would have materially affected his or her settlement with the debtor or released party.”

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be waived or limited by contract.

8. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as described in the Changes to the Terms of Use section of our Website Terms of Use. Questions can be sent to hello@pushstartgo.com or by mail to Push Start Go LLC, Phoenix, AZ, United States.
